The YMCA of the Inland Northwest is one of twelve Y’s selected to receive a grant for the TogetherhoodTM program 2015. TogetherhoodTM is a YMCA signature program that addresses the Y’s commitment to Social Responsibility. It is designed to be a member-led/member-driven Service Committee made up of Y members serving as volunteers to identify, select, promote, and lead community projects for Y members and staff to participate in giving back to the community.

Our previous involvement with 2nd Harvest, the Union Gospel Mission’s Women’s Crisis Shelter, and SCRAPs were giant steps in the right direction.

Our November event will be a Northwest Harvest food drive beginning November 17th, followed by collecting Toys for Tots after Thanksgiving. Volunteers will then be sorting and packaging toys at the Toys for Tots warehouse on December 6th.
